Submit us your 3D designs in step or iges format. Attach a 2D technical drawing in pdf format if you have additional information like critical tolerances, threaded holes, surface roughness etc. For laser engraved or silk-screened elements you can send us the files in .ai, .eps or .pdf format.
Tell us how many units you want of each part, in what materials and with what surface finishes. Also tell us the address where you would like to receive the parts.
This information can be passed on to us simply by mail or as many clients do, you can send it to us in an Excel or a Word document.
If you are going to send us more than one file, the best option is to put them all in one folder and send them to us by email compressed in .zip or .rar.
With this information we will prepare the quote and we will give you an estimated shipping date.
In most cases, we respond within one day of receiving an RFQ. If the RFQ has a lot of parts or some of them are very complex, a quote could be delayed 48hr.
In order to provide a quote and manufacture the parts, we only accept 3D CAD files in STEP or IGES format. For additional manufacturing information, 2D drawings with reference dimensions must be in PDF format.
It is not mandatory but we strongly recommend including both 3D and 2D drawing files on every project. This gives the most complete picture of the total part, which is helpful for generating an accurate quotation and to manufacture the parts.
We do not provide design services. You are responsible for submitting 2D and 3D CAD drawings. But we could recommend you a list of professional 3D CAD designers who will make your parts quickly and at competitive prices.
All your orders are made only at our headquarters located in Dongguan, Fenggang, a city known for its mature machinery manufacturing and supply chain.
We have 35 sets of CNC milling machines including several 5 axis CNC machines, 2 sets of EDM machines, 5 sets of lathes, 5 sets of milling machines, and a quality and metrology departments with an impact CMM, Hardness testers, pin and ring gauges, thread plug gauges, etc.
Maximum part size we can machine:
CNC milling: 400mm x 620mm x 750mm
CNC turning: Ø360 mm x 1000 mm
Protecting customer intellectual property is a top priority for us at MAYA Prototype and something we take very seriously.
We ensure confidentiality across the entirety of your order. Because we manufacture all the parts in-house and we don’t operate with manufacturing partners we don’t need to share the customer’s data with nobody.
Ultimately we rely on our reputation of working with thousands of clients over many years and never allowing any proprietary information to be disclosed to a third party.
If you would like some additional reassurance, we of course will sign and adhere to any non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement.
If you want, you can also download our Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) by clicking the link below. Fill it in with your data and send it to amanda.zeng@maya-master.com
The General tolerances for linear and angular dimensions of the parts produced by MAYA Prototypes follow the international standard ISO 2768-1:
-Medium "m" for CNC machined plastic parts.
-Fine "f" for CNC machined metal parts.
If smaller tolerances are required, such tolerances should be indicated in your technical drawings. Tolerances up to ±0.025mm are available upon request. Defining tight tolerances raises the cost of CNC.
The standard surface roughness achieved by CNC machining is 3.2µm Ra.
Yes, you can supply us the material so long as it fits with our machine capabilities.
Once your order is confirmed, we perform a Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review to point out any issues that our engineers feel may affect the quality of your parts.
We have the ability to share inspection data with you in real-time by email so we can work together to address any quality issues you may have during production.
We also make final inspection reports before shipment.
All machined and sheet metal parts will receive a standard inspection report included in the part price and lead time.
On this dimensional inspection report we will verify that the part material, features, and finish are in accordance with the part requirements specified in the quote and/or CAD Drawing. If a dimensional print is provided, we will verify every dimension with tolerances.
If no CAD drawing is provided with the CAD file, QC measures to MAYA's Manufacturing Standards on dimensions we deem critical, such as overall size, holes, and depths. In this case this documentation will not be shipped with your parts.
Post-delivery non-conformance communication or RMA requests should be documented with detailed description and sent to amanda.zeng@maya-master.com.
Yes, minimum order is 100€ or 115USD (VAT and shipping excluded).
Each new part needs a new CAM program and a new setup, that is why bulk production of the same part significantly reduces the price per part.
So yes, we offer significant discounts for higher volume orders. The greater the quantity the greater the discount applied to each copy.
As specified on the quote, the shipping costs do not include any taxes.
We use Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), which means that the client is responsible for paying import duty when the goods arrive at your destination.
Our main partner for worldwide shipping is DHL. Thanks to this partner we are able to deliver most of parcels worldwide* in just 3 or 4 working days but these obviously cannot foresee any time for customs clearance of goods.
Shipping costs vary based on the actual weight and size of the final volume of the goods and also on the country of destination. International express shipping cost starts at 60€
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing the tracking code to monitor the shipment from the courier's website.
*It is not possible to ship to those countries subject to limitations or embargoes.
Shipping dates are quoted in working days.
Quoted shipping dates commence only after the confirmation of payment has been done. It is an educated guess on when the order will ship out from our workshop. It’s not always perfect and may end up being a day or so more although we always do our best to be on time.
The shipping date is not the delivery date. Depending on your country it can take up to 3 or 4 working days more plus the time for customs clearance of goods if it is applicable.
MAYA provides various payment methods:
- For orders up to 1000€ you can pay by Paypal or Bank to bank wire transfer.
- For orders over 1000€ you can pay by Bank transfer.
If you choose to pay by bank transfer to our account it may take up to 5 working days.
This time would delay putting the order into production, therefore if you send us a copy of the bank transfer receipt by email, we can start production immediately.
The working days will be considered from the day the bank transfer receipt is sent.
